Your work stays on your Mac.

Still has no account, no analytics, and no network connections. This page says exactly what that means, and what the website and buying Still do with your information.

The app

Still collects nothing. It has no account or sign-in, no analytics, no crash reporting, and no advertising. It makes no network connections of any kind: the app holds no network permission from macOS and opens no connection to any server, including ours. Nothing you write, play, or set in Still leaves your Mac. The bundled music, the soundscapes, and everything you hear in a breathing session come with the app, so nothing streams.

This is how the app is built, not a setting we could quietly change. Asked what Still gathers about you, in the words a privacy label uses, the answer is “Data Not Collected”.

What Still keeps on your Mac

Still stores a small amount of data so it works the way you left it:

All of it lives in Still’s own folder on your Mac, at ~/Library/Containers/org.still.focus. Still reads and writes only there and the music files you chose. Deleting that folder removes everything Still knows; see how to remove Still.

Notes saved by earlier versions of Still stay on your Mac, untouched. Notes were removed in Still 0.2.0: this version does not show them, read them, or change them, and it never deletes them. They remain in the same folder, in a file named random-notes.json, exactly as you left them, and going back to Still 0.1.1 shows them again. Deleting the folder removes them too.

Imported music

When you add your own music, Still records a secure reference to each file so it can play it later. It does not copy, upload, analyse, or alter the file, and it never plays anything unless you press play. Your music remains yours, under whatever rights it already had.

Notifications

If you turn on “Send a notification” in Settings, macOS asks for your permission and Still posts a notification on your Mac when a session ends. The notification is created on your Mac. No notification service is involved, and turning it off is one switch away.

When you write to us

If you email support@stillfocus.app, we receive your email address and whatever you send, which may include the Still and macOS versions you were running if you include them. We use it to answer you and to keep track of the request. We do not add you to any list, share it with anyone, or use it for anything else, and we delete it once it is no longer needed.

This website

www.stillfocus.app is a static site with no advertising, no tracking pixels, no third-party fonts, and no scripts from any other host. We set no cookies. The live demo runs entirely in your browser: demo todos stay in the page’s memory and disappear when you reload, the demo breathing sessions play no sound, and music previews load from this site only when you press play.

The site is served by Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel receives the standard information a browser sends to load a page, such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages requested, and uses it to deliver the site and keep it secure under Vercel’s privacy policy. We do not see or keep this information.

The front page and the download page count their visits with Vercel Web Analytics, so that we know how many people find Still and where from. It is a small script served from this site, not from another host, and it sets no cookies. For each visit it records the page, the site that linked to it, the time, your browser, operating system, and kind of device, and the country and region your connection appears to come from. Vercel tells one day’s visits apart with a hash it derives from the request and discards after 24 hours. No IP address, name, or email address is kept, nothing follows you to another site, and the download page reports its own address alone, never the order details in the link that brought you there. We see only the totals. This page, the support page, and the terms page carry no analytics at all, and if your browser does not run scripts the visit is simply not counted.

Buying Still

Still is sold direct from this site, and the sale does not send your payment details to us.

The purchase is taken by Stripe Managed Payments, with Link, LLC as merchant of record, selling on behalf of FUJI TECH LIMITED LIABILITY COMPANY. Stripe collects your email address, billing country, and payment details to take payment, work out any tax, and issue your receipt, under Stripe’s privacy policy. Your purchase shows as Sold through Link, and your card statement reads LINK.COM. We can see each order’s email address, country, and amount so that we can help with a download or a refund. Card numbers never reach us.

The download itself comes from this site rather than from Stripe. When you come back to download Still again, we ask Stripe whether the email address and order number you gave belong to a real purchase, and if they do we hand your browser a link that stops working after a few minutes. There is no account to create and we keep no record of the purchase ourselves — Stripe’s copy is the only one.

Changes

This version of Still has no feature that touches the network. If a future version ever did, this page would change before that version shipped, and the app would explain what it does before asking for any permission. The date at the top of this page is the date it last changed.
